Must haves to summer

The weather is getting hotter! Time to prepare! Here are some things that everyone must have for this joyful time of the year.
1. Flipflips
Flipflops come in tons of fun, bright colours! They are perfect to wear to the beach or the poolside. Here are some cute Roxy ones:

If you are a person who prefers wearing your flipflops as walking sandals, then invest in much more comfortable pair:

these shoes are called Fitflops. I bought this same pair for spring break. They have arches so they are conformable to walk in, and don't feel flimsy.

2. Tote bag
Summer, you will be carrying a lot. You may possibly have your wallet, phone, ipod, summer novel, magazine, sunscreen, sunglasses, towel, and much more. Totes are cute and perfect for summer.

I love the yellow Roxy totes. Roxy has amazing stuff for summer and yellow is a very happy summer colour. If you can't decide on the colour, get a summery colour like pink or yellow for a statement, or you can settle for the popular navy and white striped sailor trend going on.

3. Denim shorts
Denim shorts are a MUST HAVE for summer. I couldn't survive my summer without them.

I love the distressed worn-out look for summer. It looks like you have worn them for many summers and have been through many memories in them (but really, you are in the process of making memories). These shorts from American Eagle are great. American Eagle has tons of variety for denim shorts.

4. Sun dresses
I love sun dresses! They are just so cute! I have so many in my closet and I just want to buy more and more.

As you can tell, I love sundresses. My favourites are Hollister, Forever 21, and Urban Outfitters. I'm not sure why, but I love the crochet dress for some reason. I probably would wear it as a bathing suit cover up though. I have been wanting to get crochet things lately.

That's all for now! Thanks for reading my first summer blog entry!

Summer Blogs coming up!

I decided I will make my next few blogs summer themed! I will talk about must have things for summer, my favourite summer memories, summer hair styles, and more!

Already Getting Ready for Summer

Hey There! I didn't give up on my blog. I am looking soooo forward to summer. I never used to be so excited about summer until I turned into a teenager. Once your a teen, it feels like an important memorable time of your life. When I think of last summer, I almost start to cry. I love it so much. I think of waterfights, shopping, swimming, and hanging out with my friends. I also think of the Passion Tea Lemonaid from Starbucks and the soccer world cup. It was such a good day when Spain won. The K'naan soccer theme song was playing everywhere and the weather was perfect. There was some fun annual celebration going on at that time in my city where there is games, rides, rodeos, and tons of cotton candy. I remember walking through the fun, busy street in downtown to get there, where there are tons of shops, restraunts, and coffee shops. It's the most happening place in town. Many Spain fans drove through the streets with Spain flags flowing from their car. It was an awesome day. I love summer, and I plan on going to a university where their is a beach so I can enjoy summer even more. I have already been playing with summer outfits on polyvore:
That polyvore picture is what I feel about summer. Flipflops, watermelon, flowers, vitamen water, and popicles. I'm SO ordering that tank top from Delias. I think it's on discount at the moment. I also am planning on ordering some of these layered bracelets:

Layered bracelets are a great sumer trend! My friend rocks them every summer, but she, being un-lazy, makes them herself. I might buy those and make a few but I'm not sure.
I'm also planning on visiting my relatives in London this summer, so you know what that means...
Time to get London-ed up!

I have no clue why my typing is in the centre here... Anyways thats all for now!
